How did two new bus shelters make Kildare County Council's approval list and other bus shelters that were promised didn't?
That's the question being asked by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer.
She said over €500,000 has been allocated to Kildare County Council by the National Transport Authority to progress bus shelters in the county but bus shelters she asked for "were not included".
She said "surely the seven day service from Kilcullen through Kineagh and Athgarvan, which also has a night service, warrants a bus shelter".
She said she is still waiting on a response from the council.
The council said several other locations are being considered for potential bus shelters in the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District.
These include:

Maddenstown Terrace, The Curragh
Brownstown, The Curragh
R416 Athgarvan Road, Newbridge
R415 Rathbride Abbey, Kildare Town
R415 Lourdesville, Kildare Town
A spokesperson for the council said other locations will be considered in due course, "funding and resources permitting".
