A Blood Donation Clinic is taking place in Monasterevin Community Centre, Whelan Street on Thursday 21 July.

The clinic will operate from 3.45pm- 8pm.

This is an appointment based clinic.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service recommends that you have eaten something and have had plenty of cold drinks before giving blood..

It advises that people allow about an hour and a half to complete the process at the clinic from the registration to refreshments.

If you feel unwell after making a donation or think you may be coming down with an infection and wish to speak to the doctor on call, contact IBTS at 01 4322800.
