Only 26 per cent of school-leavers in disadvantaged areas go to college.

Barnardos will tell the Oireachtas Education Committee, on which sits Kildare Fianna Fáil Senator, Fiona O'Loughlin, that compares to 90 to 100 per cent in well-off areas.
