Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact their local Garda station.
A car was set alight in Newbridge in what Gardai believe was a "deliberate" act of arson.
It happened at The Crescent estate, Liffey Hall.
The owner of the car heard a window smash at around 3.30am on Thursday, September 4th.
When she looked outside, the car was on fire.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact their local Garda station.
