Encampments have been returning to the same site a number of times this year.
Fine Gael Cllr. Peggy O'Dwyer has expressed her frustration and anger at the amount of rubbish left behind, following yet another "illegal encampment" at Little Connell in Newbridge.
A number of caravans have since left the site, which is understood to be owned by IDA Ireland, but bags of waste, human excrement and the remnants of fires remain.
Kfm understands that IDA Ireland are to ensure the area will be cleaned up as soon as possible and are very aware of the damage that has been caused from previous encampments.
Residents in the area have expressed concerns regarding poor water pressure in the area and potential health risks.
Cllr. O'Dwyer spoke to the 'Kildare Today' show this morning.
