Almost 3,000 Ukrainians Have Arrived In Kildare Since The Start Of The Conflict With Russia

Flood's Cross in Naas has the highest number of people from Ukraine in Kildare

Just under 110,000 people have arrived in Ireland from Ukraine since the start of the conflict with Russia.

2,829 Ukrainians have arrived in Kildare, with the number in Naas being the highest, at 1,297 due to the IPAS centre in Flood's Cross.

This is followed by:

Athy - 324

Newbridge - 288

Maynooth - 286

Kildare - 270

Celbridge - 183

Clane - 181

CSO figures show 75 per cent of those given a PPS number had recent administrative activity since July.

This is considered an estimate of the number of Ukrainians who are still in the country since they were offered Temporary Protection.
