Five new wheelchair accessible buses have been launched on the 139 route.
The news will be welcomed by locals after Kfm highlighted how a couple from Clane were recently left stranded for three hours while waiting on a wheelchair accessible 139 bus in Naas.
The €1.8m hybrid, low-floor eco-friendly buses will be primarily used along the 139 Naas to Blanchardstown route, connecting TU Blanchardstown, Maynooth University and Naas Hospital.

She said her parents were freezing while they waited on the bus and that a suitable one only showed up after 6pm - her parents had been waiting since 2.50pm.
