80% Increase In The Number Of People On Trolleys At Naas General's ED

There are no patients on gurneys on the Kildare facility's wards.

There's been an increase of almost 80% in the number of patients on trolleys at Naas General in the last 24 hours

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reported 13 patients without beds in the Emergency Dept on Wednesday.

That has increased to 22, today

That is the highest figure in Leinster.

There are no patients on gurneys on the Kildare facility's wards.

Nationwide, there are 456 people on trolleys.

Over-crowding is most acute at Letterkenny University Hospital, where 56 patients are on gurneys.
