60 Point Increase In Kildare's 14 Day Covid 19 Incidence Rate.

It stands at 227.9 cases per 100,000 people.

Kildare's 14 day Covid 19 incidence rate has jumped by almost 60 points.

The rate, for the two weeks to July 15th, was 168.1 cases per 100,000 people.

Latest data, for the 14 days to Sunday, July 18th, shows the rate in the county has risen to 227.9

Only 7 counties have higher rates - Donegal, Dublin, Limerick, Louth, Meath, Roscommon and Sligo.

507 people in Kildare were diagnosed with Covid 19 in that period.

Two thirds of those diagnoses, at 315, occured over the week to Sunday

Kildare's 5 day moving average of cases, between July 14th and 18th is 50.

The state's 14 day incidence rate in that period is 230.6 cases per 100,000 people
