New figures follow Newbridge protest over planned modular homes.

New figures shows nearly 55,000 Ukrainians have arrived in Ireland since the start of the Russian invasion.

The Central Statistics Office have found Dublin's North Inner City and Killarney County Kerry had the highest number of associated arrivals from Ukraine at around 1,500

There was a protest in Newbridge over the weekend, in opposition of the building of modular homes for Ukrainian refugees.

Speaking on KFM's Kildare Today, Tom McDonnell of the LHD action group, says the proposed site between Lakeside Park and Dara Park is unsuitable.
