Turn2Me is offering up to six free online counselling sessions and support groups for students and parents this week.
National mental health charity Turn2Me has urged students and parents to keep perspective as Leaving Certificate results are published tomorrow.
Over 3,500 students in Kildare will receive their results.
The charity is encouraging families to focus on the wide range of options available, even if students do not achieve their expected points.
“There are so many routes into fulfilling careers and opportunities, and no single exam defines your worth, your intelligence, or your potential,” said Fiona O’Malley, CEO of Turn2Me.
The charity highlighted a number of pathways for students, including exploring apprenticeships and trades; PLCs, which can bridge into higher education; and non-linear careers, with transferable skills and retraining options.
