3,500-4,000 Students Create Stunning Human St Brigid's Cross On The Curragh

It was captured by local photographer Mark McGuire

Between 3,500 and 4,000 secondary school students from across 13 schools in Kildare have joined together to make a human St Brigid’s Cross on The Curragh.

The schools, along with Into Kildare and the Solas Bhríde Centre joined forces to launch the second global ‘Pause for Peace’ movement.

The amazing spectacle, was captured on camera by local photographer Mark McGuire.

It is now a World Record for the most amount of people coming together to make a living St Brigid’s Cross.
