There are over 600 people on trolleys across the country's hospitals today.
Some 34 people were on trolleys in Naas General Hospital as of 8am this morning.
According to today's INMO trolley watch figures, 32 people were on trolleys in the Emergency Department, while 2 were waiting on trolleys elsewhere in the hospital.
612 admitted patients were waiting for beds this morning across the country, 509 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 103 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
It's the first time the trolley figures have gone over 600 for the Autumn/Winter period this year.
University Hospital Limerick, 86 and Cork University Hospital, 71 are two of the worst impacted hospitals today.
Naas General Hospital has previously advised patients with non-emergency conditions, to where possible seek assistance from other parts of the health service such as their local Pharmacist or GP.
However, the hospital urges patients who have a serious health emergency not to delay in seeking medical attention and to dial 999 or 112 in an emergency or if you suspect you are having a heart attack or stroke.
