3,210 have applied nationally
The Government has announced it has received 3,210 applications under the latest round of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme.
The Programme is the Government’s primary vehicle for providing support to sports clubs and communities to develop sustainable sports infrastructure and increase active participation in sport.
A total of over €350m is being sought by all applicants.
In Kildare, 112 sports clubs and organisations have applied for funding.
