Country is now battling tropical storm

1,941 people are now known to have died in a powerful earthquake in Haiti.

On Saturday morning, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the country.

Haiti is now battling the arrival of Tropical Storm Grace.

The rain has forced the government to temporarily halt its response to the weekend's disaster, which has left thousands homeless.

There are fears flash flooding and mudslides will further add to the devastation - with thousands of people already left homeless.

Forecasters say the storm could be near hurricane strength as it approaches Mexico.
