Diagnosed with early onset dementia at age 40
World Rugby is not doing enough to tackle concussion, according to a former Wales international.
It comes as former New Zealand player Carl Hayman, who is just 41 years old, was diagnosed with early onset dementia.
He is the latest player to have developed the condition, and has joined a lawsuit against rugby authorities for the injuries he sustained while playing.
Former Wales international Alix Popham, who was diagnoised with early onset dementia last year at the age of 40, says players should be tested every year for potential brain injuries:
