Covid Lockdowns Partly Blamed For Increase In No. Of Children In England Prescribed Antidepressants.

Covid-19 lockdowns are being partly blamed for a rise in the number of children in England being given antidepressants.

The Pharmaceutical Journal says prescriptions for under-17s there rose by over five thousand in the five years to April 2020.

There were peaks in March and December last year - which corresponded with the start of the pandemic and around the strictest Covid rules.
