British Medical Association says measures need to be implemented
The British government has been accused of being "wilfully negligent" by refusing to implement its "Plan B" for tackling rising Covid-19 infection rates.
The British Medical Association says contingency measures need to be brought in now, to avoid further pressure on the NHS this winter.
Yesterday, the UK's health secretary revealed the number of people admitted to hospital with Covid-19 each day, is approaching 1,000.
