A 100-year-old German man will go on trial today charged with murder during his time as a Nazi concentration camp guard.
Josef Schuetz has been accused of assisting in the murder of 3,518 prisoners at the Sachsenhausen camp, north of Berlin, between 1942 and 1945.
The camp held more than 200,000 people.
Tens of thousands of people were killed through starvation, disease, shootings and gassings.
