Newbridge St Vincent de Paul Daycare Centre

Providing activities for 25 in-house elderly persons also deliver daily 55/60 dinners & deserts to home addresses as part of their Meals on Wheels service.   

To sustain this community based service, they are seeking volunteer drivers to support them with the Meals on Wheels Service.

Athy Art Collaborative Exhibition,

“Creative View”

Open Monday to Saturday til 28th June.

at The Art House in Athy – a community-based creative space to foster collaboration among local artists.

Fundraising dance night

Sarsfields GAA are hosting a 5K and 10k run and walk

 on Sunday the 27th of July at 10am.

Registration and number pick up starts at 8:30am in the clubhouse. 

This is a pop up race event with chip timings. 

Registrations are live on popupraces.ie 

There will be a Family 2K fun run on the day suitable for all levels. Registration for the Family 2K can be done on the morning. 

Take part in a great occasion, with a race for everyone!

Clane and Rathcoffey Parish weekly lotto

 Tuesday night in the Parish Centre, Main Street, Clane, at 8.00pm. 

 Tickets are €2 each, proceeds to support the running of the parish.

  The current jackpot is €6,000 and there are 5 X €50 draws on the tickets each week.

The walks are around the town for approximately 1 hour,

This is a dedicated service for older people in the Kildare community, no appointment is necessary, just drop in.

Kildare Dementia Cafe

Gathers on the last Thursday of every month from 2.30pm to 4.30pm

at Kildare Community Development Centre (Old Presentation Convent), R51 RF88.

It is a welcoming space for people living with dementia and their families and friends to have a cup of tea and a chat.

Each month there is a short talk given by a guest speaker. 

This month’s Café will take place on Thursday 26th June.
